One Health is a diverse concept that encompasses holistic approach for investigation as well as for the control of human, animal, and environmental health problems. Center for One Health Research and Promotion (COHRP) advocates in progressing a One Health approach to encourage health at the human-animal-environment interface and progressing research development for human and animal health. COHRP helps in minimizing the hardship that occurs in the practical implementation of one health concept.

One health ideology has gained a humongous limelight in this post COVID era. There is a rise in the emergence and reemergence of human diseases worldwide and in which more than 70% of the diseases are of animal origin. One Health approach has the potential to provide the creative, impactful, and sustainable solutions required to overcome the magnitude and complexity of the existing global health issues. Though One Health is an ideal approach for the transformation of the healthcare system, its implementation is being proven a major challenge so far. The major role of COHRP is to mitigate the challenge and to pressurize the policy makers by giving awareness to the general public and concerned sector
